My good friend, Ami, is making these hair accessories and earrings and giving the proceeds to my other good friend, Jenny, to help with adoption expenses. Jenny's family is adopting a sweet 3 year old girl from Ethiopia. She and her husband left today for their first trip to Ethiopia when they will get to meet their daughter, Biruk, and go before the courts for the final step in the adoption process. They will be making another trip to Ethiopia in the near future to bring Biruk home.
Here is the website where you can help support this adoption by purchasing something for yourself or as a gift from Ami.

End of school
We officially finished our school year last Friday, May 20. The first part of May, our co-op ended it's spring semester with an open house to display everything the kids did during the semester. Most classes had a table set up. Our Drama for Divas and Dudes class presented 2 short plays they worked on during the year. The Cupcake Decorating class had cupcakes for refreshments and the Tea Time class served tea and snacks. Here are some pictures from the boys' classes.
These first few are from their Drawing class:
Nicolas's are the 4 across the top.
This is from Alex's Into the Wardrobe class (based on the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe book by CS Lewis).
This is one of the creations that Nicolas made in his Lego Building class.
Here are the cupcakes:
