It's snowing at our house!

I found a neat website last night that gives instructions on how to make 3D snowflakes.  I tried one last night with scrap paper, and although it looked complicated, it really was pretty easy.  So today the boys each made one.

That's mine in the middle using scrap paper.  It's not the prettiest but Alex wanted to hang them all up.


I used 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch squares for mine and the boys used 7 X 7 inch squares.  I think getting much smaller would be harder for little hands, but they could make pretty little snowflakes.  Another tip is the closer you make the cuts to the middle, the easier it is to roll them into tubes.
